OK so me and my matey Alan [ElDiablo712] were talking about these journals the other week in work, and we decided to try and test ourselves by making a really HARD journal to both write about.

The discussion ended in writing a journal with the title - Why?

So sit back, light a candle, open your favourite tube of Pringles [or bag if you're feeling a bit more classy than us peasants] and enjoy reading this ramshackle journey of words which I hope will leave you feeling either mild annoyance or desperate anger to kill me, OR BOTH!

Beep. Beep. Qwiiittttzzzzz Second-Captain Taylor currently in command of the ship after the Kkrrrrrrrrrrrrrr approximately Beep. earth-days ago...."

SC Taylor; U.S.M.Valiant; Torvette System: "Contact with the rest of the convoy has been terminated and our ship has been running on emergency power since 1400hours approximately 7 earth-days ago. Currently the Valiant's crew consists of 6 people, 144 less than the original 150. First-Captain Kennedy issued the order to take evasive action away from the disturbance and because of this decision the majority of the hull is intact. Only physical damage done to the ship has been causes by crew members developing hysteria, or by other ships in the original retreat from the disturbance. Deaths on board have been categorized into either, death by intense exposure to the disturbance [all personnel in the lower quadrant of the ship were deceased immediately when the disturbance occurred], or secondary death brought on by Marooned Hysteria [MH]. Before all of the medical officers died, the Hysteria was actually diagnosed to stop the electrical signals in the brain and therefore kill the patient as well as sending them clinically insane. Information regarding other, non-fatal cases of [MH] showed that it was just an aggravated form of panic brought on by the knowledge that the subject was imprisoned in a damaged ship with no form of communication or transportation and a decreasing food supply. Also due to the engine and systems failures which have unfortunately occured onboard, the Oxygen Recarbonaters have also ceased to function. First-Captain Kennedy was killed by a sufferer of [MH] approximately 56hours ago. Cadet Haneley became insane and strangled the FCKennedy to death after biting Cadet Peters repeatedly until he died of blood loss, and also shooting Lieutenant Bainbridge, causing major fire damage in the residential quadrant. If anyone receives this distress call, then please triangulate our beacon using our current Universal Coordinates [Y127-GH98-JS3A-Omega463JP-Torvette].
